Some of the final residents to move into a popular Shrewsbury development were presented with a festive gift from the developers.
Neal Wynn and his wife Amanda received a £150 voucher and flowers from Galliers Homes.
The couple purchased a four bedroom property at Galliers’ Belvidere Park development and received the gifts from sales advisor Julie Williams.
“When we were looking for somewhere to buy we viewed a lot of new developments but thought that the finish, standard of work and customer service from Galliers was far superior to anything else we saw,” said Neal, who is a firefighter.
“We were both beyond impressed at the thoughtful touches of the hamper we also received when moving in, containing essentials and the monogrammed Galliers towels which were placed in the bathroom.”
He and Amanda, who works at Concord College, previously lived in Preston Street and used an ‘Assisted Purchase Package’ to buy at Belvidere Park, meaning that Galliers instructed two estate agents to support with the sale of their existing property.
The Belvidere Park scheme, which is providing a collection of 20 contemporary three, four and five bedrooms properties near the banks of the River Severn, has proved to be one of the company’s most successful ventures.
The Help to Buy equity loan initiative, which lends people up to 20% of the cost of their newly built home, meaning that they only need a 5% cash deposit and a 75% mortgage to make up the rest, is available at the development.
It means that prices for the remaining homes are £188,000 for the three bedroom semi detached Appleton, £252,000 for the four bedroom detached Kendale design and £383,000 for the four bedroom detached Tibberton.
