Nicky and Alex Jones have moved into a four-bedroom property on Galliers Homes’ Church View development in the village of Hadnall.
They have been presented with flowers and a voucher by the Shrewsbury-based firm, which is providing a collection of 35 two, three, four and five-bedroom houses and bungalows here.
Nicky explained that they decided to downsize from their larger property near Whitchurch to Church View.
She said: “Our former house had five bedrooms and three acres of land and as our children are grown up we decided to downsize.
“We wanted a village location nearer to a major hub and our friends mentioned Hadnall as a location. We had always passed through it on the way to our to see relatives and shopping in Shrewsbury so thought we would see what Galliers had available.
“We were very happy with the location of the development. The sales staff were very helpful and together we decided to go with the four bedroom detached Ashford design as it suited our lifestyle and needs.
“The whole experience was favourable and the staff were always on top of all the details to enable us to move at our chosen time.
“Having been married for 25 years, this is our first new build home and we are very excited to finally live in a beautiful village and close to Hawkstone Park Golf Club which is a huge part of our life.”
Nicky and Alex, who were both formerly in the military and met in the first Gulf War, now run their own consultancy business.
Julia Nock, sales executive at Church View, said: “It is a pleasure to welcome Nicky and Alex to the development and to see how they have settled in to Church View and become part of village life.”
Properties currently on the market at Church View include a two bedroom bungalow priced at £270,000, a three bedroom bungalow at £315,000, a four bed detached house at £445,000 and a five bedroom detached property on the market at £520,000.
